He is survived by his wife, Jennifer and his two daughters, Mallory and Carolyn. Craig graduated from the University of Virginia in 1987 and the University of Georgia School of Law in 1990. He practiced law for 36 years, most recently at Fisher & Phillips. Craig was very active in the Louisville community for the past 30 years dedicating many years on Session at Highland Presbyterian Church, heading up per- sonnel and teaching Sunday School. For over a decade, Craig was on the Board of the USTA-KY with a special interest and commitment to Raise a Racquet Founda- tion. He served on Whitehall House and Gardens Board as well as coached HYR soccer while his daughters played in elementary school. Asa “Pete” Gullett III, 80, died August 9, 2026. Pete, a Hazard, KY native, graduated from Centre College in 1968 and obtained his J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1971. He returned to Hazard and was in private practice until 2000. He was very active in the Hazard community, serving on the Hazard School Board from 1985 to 2000. He was a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. From 1983 to 1989, he served on the Board of Governors, the governing body for the Kentucky Bar. He also participated in various other Bar activities. In 2000, he became operations manager for Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company of Kentucky (LMICK), where he was still Of Counsel at the time of his passing. Pete loved practicing law and never wanted to retire. He was an avid reader, enjoyed old-time music, especially bluegrass and playing cards, especially bridge. He was a great fan of the Cincinnati Reds and UK basketball since he was a little boy. He was Presbyterian by faith. Pete had a very fine legal mind and was a highly intel- ligent individual.
